Frankie Ann Felty Jackson

WOLFE CITY — Frankie Ann Felty Jackson, 86, of Celeste died November 13, 2007, at Greencrest Manor Nursing Center of Greenville. Funeral services are at 10:30 AM Saturday, November 17, 2007, at First United Methodist Church of Celeste with the Rev. Bill Eason officiating. Burial is in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.

Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, November 16, 2007, at R.W. Owens Funeral Home in Wolfe City.

Born December 10, 1920, in the Hickory Creek community, she was the daughter of Emory Newton Felty and Margaret “Maggie” Davy Felty. She was a Hickory Creek student and a 1938 Celeste High School graduate. She was married to J. K. Jackson on May 9, 1942, in Greenville; he preceded her in death on May 10, 1977. Mrs. Jackson was a retired school teacher and librarian for the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District and taught in Celeste after her retirement. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Celeste.

Surviving are a son, James Kenney Jackson and wife Donna Jackson of Simi Valley, California; three grandchildren, Susie Marie McCallum and husband David McCallum, Joshua Keith Jackson and wife Trina Jackson and Sarah Clements Jackson; two great-grandchildren, Jase Kenney Jackson and Jayden Karl Jackson; one brother, Jimmy Felty of Celeste; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Fred Felty, Kelly Felty, Ray Grisham, Lyn Grisham, Charles Felty, and Scott Lake. Chris Reamy and Brent Bailey will serve as honorary pallbearers.
