Billie Katheryn McGee Gale
Billie Katheryn McGee Gale, 82, was born February 18, 1926, and passed away peacefully June 3, 2008, with her beloved family by her side.
After graduating from Celeste High School in 1942, Billie worked as an executive secretary for many years, at both UTSW Medical School and at Story, Kelly and Smith, as well as being wife, homemaker, and mother. Billie and her family were long-time residents of Richardson, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents George McGee and Katie George McGee of Celeste, Texas; the love of her life, her husband of fifty-six years, William David Gale; her son, David Alan Gale; and her adoring Doberman, Mr. Wilson.
She is survived by her daughter, Teri Gale Castro (husband Henry Castro); grandson, Henry Castro; daughter-in-law; Sherri Ivy; three grandchildren; Wendy Gale, Marshall Gale, and Taryn Ivy of McAlester, Oklahoma; brother; Bobby McGee of Greenville, Texas; niece; Cathy Murphy (husband Bobby Murphy) of Flower Mound, Texas; nephew; Gary McGee of Greenville, Texas; and many other cousins. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in her name to the Doberman Rescue of North Texas in Grand Prairie or the Faith Temple Re-Building Fund, 2631 Lockhart Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75228.
