TUSCOLA (RNS) - Mrs. Catherine Ruth Hancock, 56, was found dead at her home at 2125 Lowden St. in Abilene at 10:30 a.m: Wednesday.

Justice of the Peace Silas Clark ruled death due to natural causes.

Funeral is pending at Fry Funeral Home in Tuscola.

Mrs, Hancock was born Catherine Fleming Dec. 21, 1914, in Wolfe City and married Allen C. Hancock March 1935 in Dallas.

She had lived in Taylor County 35 years and had been employed by Stewart Nursing Home in Lawn several years. Mrs. Hancock was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Mary) Black of Merkel and Sandra Hancock of Burlingame, Calif.; two sons, Tyre Hancnck of 5619 Buffalo Gap Rd., Abilene, and James Hancock of San Francisco, Calif.; seven grandchildren; five brothers, Hershel of Potosi, Hubert, Carisle(sic) and J. H., all of Dallas, and James of Lawn; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Gibbons of Tyler and Mrs. Pauline Yose(sic) of Abilene.

The family will be at the home of Tyre Hancock at 5619 Buffalo Gap Rd.
