MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. — James Leon Clark, III, 55, of Mount Pleasant, S.C., husband of Linda Cox Clark, entered into eternal rest Nov. 1, 2006. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service Sunday at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc.-Mount Pleasant chapel at 2 o’clock. Friends may call at the Mount Pleasant Chapel on Saturday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock. Mr. Clark was born, Oct. 29, 1951, in Greenville, Texas, son of James Leon Jr. and Mary Lois Henson Clark. He graduated from Greenville High School in Greenville, S.C., was a former dispatcher for the town of Mount Pleasant, S.C., and Isle of Palms, S.C., and a former employee of Ling-Temco-Vought. He was a self-employed contractor. James is survived by his parents of Bonneau, S.C.; his wife, Linda Cox Clark of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; a daughter, Amy Marie Clark of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; stepdaughter Angela Marie Guerrero of Charleston, S.C.; stepsons Julian Guerrero and Adrian Guerrero, both of Arizona; sisters Vicki Clark Freeman of Bonneau, S.C., and Sherri Clark Manucy of Huger, S.C.; a brother, Anthony “Tony” Clark of Charleston, S.C.; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
