Janet Armoto, 69, of Greenville died Feb. 9, 2007, at her residence. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Peters Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jimmy Vaughn officiating.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

On Oct. 4, 1937, Janet L. Armoto was born to Wayne and Lila Ray Arnett in La Crosse, Wis. She married Nicolas L. Armoto on April 7, 1956, in La Crosse, Wis. After being united for nearly 51 years, Janet Lucille Armoto was called home to be with the Lord and her loving husband who died Jan. 30, 2007. Janet was a homemaker and was a member of the Baptist faith.

Janet is survived by her three daughters, Kim Dahl and husband Dave of Buffalo City, Wis., Robin Armoto and Jose Olguin of Greenville and Michelle Pearson and husband Andy of Lone Oak; three sisters, Pat Leonard and husband David of Tyler; Jeanne Waite and husband Jan of Tyler and Carol Golding and husband Butch Alfred of Longview; a brother, Gerald Hall of Wisconsin; three grandsons, Jon Britton of Greenville, Matt Pearson of Lone Oak and D.J. Dahl and wife Jessica of Arcadia, Wis.; three granddaughters, Nikki Browning and husband Brian of Greenville, Heather Casey and Jamey Grotjahn of Alma, Wis., and Jerah Hutchins of Dallas; and four great-grandchildren, Bradley and Jordan Browning of Greenville and Charlie and Caitlyn Casey of Alma, Wisconsin.

Her son, Nick Armoto Jr.; her parents and a sister, Hope Smith, also preceded her in death.
