WOLFE CITY — Joe Brantley “Brant” Hill, 47, of Wolfe City died Feb. 14, 2007, at Smith Nursing Home in Wolfe City, following a lengthy illness. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at Mount Carmel Cemetery Chapel in Wolfe City with Brother Kevin Lane officiating. Burial follows in Mount Carmel Cemetery under the direction of R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home.

Son of Joe Ralph and Earla Rhea Thomason Hill, he was born Nov. 2, 1959, in Wolfe City. Mr. Hill was a heavy equipment operator and was a member of First Baptist Church in Wolfe City.

Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Bryant Ed and Angie Hill of Wolfe City; two daughters, Missy Rex of Ladonia and Brettany Hill of Bonham; two grandchildren, Catlan Rex and Dustin Rex; two nieces, Mandy Hill and Mallory Hill of Wolfe City; an aunt and uncle, Jean and Gene Monroe of Wolfe City; and sidekick Arland Hendrickson of Klondike.

Pallbearers are Joel McKay, Ross McDaniel, Gene Dawson, Alan Malone, David Dawson and Joel Robinson. Riding Club members are honorary pallbearers.
