John M. Gill
Celeste--John M. Gill, eight-five year old Celeste resident, died at 12:30 AM, Friday, in Celeste after a short illness.
Funeral services are pending with the Henson Funeral Home, Guymon, Oklahoma. Burial will be in Carter Cemetery in Guymon.
Mr. Gill, a member of the Catholic Church was born on January 19, 1883, in Oklahoma. A retired grocery store manager and road foreman, Mr. Gill had lived in Celeste for about the last five years.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eula Kelsoe Gill of Celeste; two daughters, Mrs. Henry Meadors (sic) of Amarillo and Mrs. Lou Paula of California; one brother, Jess Gill of Kingston, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
