Lemmie R. Jones
Lemmie R. Jones, 70, born April 15, 1902, in Ellijay, Georgia, died from cancer of the abdomen on July 21, 1972, at RR 11, Box 229, Tyler, Smith County, Texas, his home of twenty-one years. He had been sick for five months. He was a retired Baptist minister, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jones (mother's maiden name not known). Removal for burial was made July 22, 1972, by BWT Funeral Home. Burial to be made in Chandler Cemetery, Henderson County, Texas.
