Services for Mr. John Ward Crisp, 89, of 1522 Wolfe City Drive will be held at Coker-Matthews-Peters Chapel at 3:30 p.m. today with the Rev. Ben Smith officiating. Mr. Crisp died Wednesday at Citizens General Hospital. Pallbearers will be James Marshall, Jerry Frederick, John Edwards, John Holland, Steve Price, and Bobby Trad. Burial will be in Forest Park. Mr. Crisp was born in Navarro County on August 16, 1889, to James S. Crisp and Ellen Butter Crisp. He married Ola Marshall on July 18, 1933. He was a veteran of the Army and of World War I. He was also a member of the North Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; and three sisters, Mrs. J.M. Brooks of Decatur, Mrs. Mary Frederick of Grand Saline, and Mrs. Nella Franklin of Decatur.---
