Larry James Hogan, 68, of Greenville passed away in Greenville on Nov. 9, 2006. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Monday in the Lynch Funeral Chapel with Stephen Price officiating. Mr. Hogan was born on March 29, 1938, to Donald and Alice Hogan in Greenfield, Iowa. He worked as a farmer in Iowa before moving to Texas where he worked for Lance for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing and working with wood. He was also a devoted member of Lake Fork Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Nell Hogan of Greenville; sons Brian Hogan and wife, Tina, of Greenville, and Michael Scarborough of Greenville; daughters Shelli Hogan of Greenville, and Shaunda Gray and husband, Mark, of Greenville; a brother Dallas Hogan of Southbend, IN; grandchildren Brandi, Bethany, Brooke, Blayne, Alli, Alysha, Kacie, Kenzie, Jessica, Mark and Rylie; and one great-grandchild Javier Rodriguez.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Elaine Hogan. Honorary pallbearers are Ralph Moser, Jesse Brooks, Tom Burk and Thomas Auanger.

Visitation is from 4 to 6 p.m. today. The family requests that memorials be made to The American Cancer Society.
