Mrs. Mollie Kerr

Mrs. T. D. Kerr, 63, resident of Celeste for the past twenty-five years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. D. Braley of Dallas, on Friday, October 13, 1933, at 11:35 PM, according to the message received here. Mrs. Kerr had been carried to Dallas last June for treatment and underwent an operation there soon afterward.

Mrs. Mollie Kerr was born in Alabama in 1870 and was married in Alabama to T. D. Kerr about 1891. They came to Texas forty-three years ago, first settling in the Merit community and then moved to Celeste some twenty-five years ago. Her husband died in 1921.

Mrs. Kerr was a conscientious Christian, an ardent church worker, and had been a member of the Baptist Church for forty years.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. D. D. Braley of Dallas; four sisters and three brothers in Alabama; and one brother in Lamesa.

The body was brought to Celeste by Neer and Lybrand of Greenville and services will held in Celeste sometime Sunday afternoon, October 15, 1933.
