Mrs. Atteberry
On last Friday, the spirit of Mrs. Atteberry, familiarly known as Grandma Atteberry, departed this life. She was born on June 28, 1830, being more than seventy-seven years of age. Three children survive her: J. P. Atteberry of Greenville, H. H. Atteberry of Marshall, and Mrs. Lizzy Ewing of Celeste. The deceased had been a constant member of the Methodist Church from early childhood. The funeral was at Nicholson Cemetery with the Rev. Lee Sanders officiating.
