Mrs. M. V. Compton
Wolfe City--Funeral services for Mrs. M. V. Compton, 67, of RR 2, Celeste, are pending at the Owens Funeral Home.
Mrs. Compton died unexpectedly on Friday afternoon, September 12, 1969, at her home.
A native of Fannin County, she was a member of the Hickory Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Thornton of Celeste; two sons, James Compton of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and David Compton of Grand Prairie; three grandchildren; and one brother, Rube Owens of Leonard.
