Nicholas L. Armoto Sr., 69, of Greenville died Jan. 30, 2007, at his residence. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Peters Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jimmy Vaughn officiating.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

He was born May 13, 1937, in DeSoto, Wis., son of James and Edna (Kish) Armoto. He married Janet Arnett on April 7, 1956, in La Crosse, Wis.

He owned and operated Briteway Window Cleaning, a supporter of Missionaries Across the World and the Children’s Ministry. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Janet of Greenville; daughters Kim Dahl and husband Dave of Buffalo City, Wis., Robin Armoto and Jose Olguin of Greenville, and Michelle Pearson and husband Andy of Lone Oak; sisters Joyce Boardman of St. Louis, Mo., and Diane Armoto of La Crosse, Wis.; grandsons Jon Britton of Greenville, Matt Pearson of Lone Oak, and DJ Dahl and wife Jessica of Arcadia, Wis.; granddaughters Nikki Browning and husband Brian of Greenville, Heather Casey and Jamey Grotjahn of Alma, Wis., and Jerah Hutchins of Dallas; and great-grandchildren Bradley and Jordan Browning, both of Greenville and Charlie and Caitlyn Casey, both of Alma, Wis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Nicholas L. Armoto, Jr.; and 11 brothers and sisters.
