Noreen Marjory Furlong, 103, of Murphy died May 28, 2006, in Murphy. She was an organist for St. William’s Catholic Church in Greenville for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Furlong; a son, Calvin “Buddy” Furlong; and a sister, Doris Knight.
Survivors are a son, Harold Furlong; a daughter, Norma Havens; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Services are at 10 a.m. today at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 1201 Alma Drive in Plano. Interment follows at 2 p.m. at Webb Hill Cemetery in Wolfe City. Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home of Sachse is in charge of arrangements.
