P. A. Cunningham Died Here Last Wednesday

P. A. Cunningham, familiarly known for a long period of years as "Tip" Cunningham, died at his home on Washington Street in this city last Wednesday, July 14, 1926.

Deceased was a Confederate soldier, a native of Tennessee, and for fifty-seven years had lived in Texas.

He was in the hotel business at Kingston and Celeste for many years and formerly was very active in local politics and well known throughout the country.

He was an Oddfellow, member of the Joseph E. Johnston Camp UCV, member of the Methodist Church, and exceedingly energetic and active in questions of public concern throughout his life.

He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Charles ROACH, Jacksboro; Mrs. Max Williams, Floyd; Mrs. T. O. Abernathy, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Anson Cunningham, Farmersville.

The body was carried to Farmersville for burial.
