Funeral services for Stella Mae Fry, 80, of Lone Oak were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6 at Lone Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Rodell Martin officiating. Burial was in Rabb Cemetery in Lone Oak. Mrs. Fry died Friday, Sept. 2, at her residence. She was born on June 5, 1925, in Kaufman to Henry and Mattie Prox. She married the late Luther Jarvis Fry and was a homemaker. She was a member of Mount Goliad Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, James Fry and wife Theresa of Greenville, and Calvin Fry and wife Janet of Lufkin; three daughters, Helen Lois Jackson of Lone Oak, Katie Givens and husband Charles of Point, and Marilyn Kegler and husband Larry of Lufkin; and an adopted daughter, Gaynelle Allen; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, three brothers; and two sons. Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
