ARLINGTON — Tommy Bryant Felmet, 73, a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, died March 15, 2007 in Arlington. Graveside services are at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Lane B.

Tommy was born June 8, 1933, in Greenville, son of Jesse Felmut and Sadie Dalton Felmet.

He served during the Vietnam war in the Air Force and retired as a lieutenant colonel. Tommy graduated from East Texas State University in Commerce. He had been a resident of Arlington for the past 35 years. Tommy enjoyed boating and camping. He was always known for his sense of humor and will be greatly missed.

Survivors are daughters Vickie Hrabal and husband Craig of Hagerstown, Md., and Judie Marcangelo and husband John of Arlington; a brother, Jack Felmet of Oregon; sisters Nadine Fryer of Louisiana., Margaret Goodwin of Royse City, and Peggy Herlocker, formerly of Greenville; five grandchildren, Krisha Graham, Christopher Copen, Robert Copen, Johnette Marcangelo, and Jesse Marcangelo; and six great-grandchildren.

Wade Funeral Home of Arlington is in charge of arrangements.
