WOLFE CITY — Vickie Ann Shaw Davis, 55, of Wolfe City died May 4, 2007, at her home. Graveside services are at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mount Carmel Cemetery with Rev. Sam Bush officiating under the direction of R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home.

Visitation is from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Mount Carmel Cemetery Chapel.

The daughter of Coleman and Mattie Crouch Sandlin, she was born April 25, 1953, in Cooper. On Nov. 17, 2004, she married Michael Davis in Ladonia.

Mrs. Davis was secretary for the City of Ladonia for 20-plus years, was on the Housing Authority Board, was former owner of Ladonia News and Honey Grove Citizen, a former member of the Fannindel Independent School District School Board, was a member of the Ladonia Rodeo Association and was a former HPC employee. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Ladonia.

Surviving are her husband of Wolfe City; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Blake and Mandy Shaw of Commerce and Heath Davis of Wolfe City; two daughters, Diana Hester of Clarksdale, Miss., and Jamie Humbarger of Frisco; grandchildren Madison Shaw, Savannah Shaw, Blayke Hester, Kassi Hester and Gage Humbarger; her mother of Ladonia; a sister and brother-in-law, Melinda and James Mclemore of Pickton; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Ronnie and Sharon Sandlin of Emory and Wayne Sandlin of Ladonia.

A son, Matthew Shaw; her father; and one brother, Donnie Sandlin, preceded her in death.
