Beseler Cemetery is located on East bank of Little Joshua near Welfare, due West of Welfare Store on Laas property, Kendall County, Texas.

* Hugo Hein was the son of Auguste Hein Maertz.
The ship list for the ship "Iris" shows him as a 1 year old
male arriving in Galveston in October 1869 with his mother,
Auguste Hein. Auguste married Edward Maertz one month later.
Edward was not on the ship list. He may have adopted Hugo
after they were married. The 1870 census shows Auguste working
as a domestic servant for the Beseler family. Hugo may have
died while she was working there and was buried near where
Carl had been buried nine years earlier.
