LINDNER, (GUS) HOUSE,
943 High Street, Comfort

HISTORY: This one and one-half story, Victorian, frame house was built about 1905 by Gus Lindner. It has the look of being a dog-trot type structure with the center hall filled in, making a central porch. The porch has gingerbread across the front and transoms over the door. Two fireplaces at opposite sides of the house adding to the symmetrical look. A porch was added to the back. R.M and Joyce George purchased it about 1980 and moved from Boerne where Mac had built many homes, while Joyce was county Treasurer.
