Rudolf Carstanjen, a native of Duisburg, Prussia, and aged about 24 years, immigrated from Havre and arrived at New Orleans on or about the end of July, 1850. He intends to reside in Comal County (a summary). Citizenship application dated 17 May, 1854 before the District Clerk in Comal County.
The above declaration was presented by Carstanjen to the Gillespie County District Court during the September term, 1856, at which time citizendhip was granted. The witnesses were P. Braubach(?), and C. Flach.
