DESCRIPTION: One story, Victorian style home with gingerbread on porches; thick rock walls with some clapboard over front porch; spacious porches grace three sides, on north, west and south; three fireplaces.

HISTORY: This house was built about 1900 by Max Henry Richter, Sr. and his wife, Clara Ullrich of New Braunfels. They lived here and raised their family of three sons here, then lived on until their deaths. It eventually became rental property and fell into great disrepair. It was torn down in 1992 to build Security State Bank Building.
