Treue der Union

 

 

The following men were killed at the battle on the west wing of the Nueces river by Confederate Forces

August 10, 1862. Their remains were interred in a common grave on August 20, 1865. A momument  honoring

all the Union Loyalist who died trying to reach Mexico was erected and dedicated August 10, 1866.

* Fritz Lange is honored as one of those who died at the Rio Grande, but his name has not been placed
