HISTORY: "The old A.S. Toepperwein house is not only a unique and interesting structure, but it belonged to a descendent of an unusually talented family that came to the Hill Country with the early day German immigrants."The above is taken from an article written by Garland Perry in his book,"Historic Images of Boerne, Texas, 1982".He goes on to give information about the Toepperwein family who resided in this house. After the elder Toepperwein's died, the house was rented to a number of families until Travis and Mary Wilcox purchased it in 1975.
