This is a Spanish Cemetery
From Highway 79 in Jewett go north on Highway 39 a distance of 5.6 miles, there is a small concrete culvert here. The cemetery is a couple hundred yards to the right of the highway in the underbrush.

| MARTINEZ This stone had a lot of writing on it. It was scratched on the cement in a way that most of it was unreadable for me. There could have been at least 3 different names & dates. All that I could read for sure is Martinez and the date Dec 11, 1885. |
