Murder; committed March 18, 1865; indicted May 17, 1865. William Walton is about
5 feet 7 inches high, light complexion, blue eyes, rather stooped, round
shouldeered, about 37 years of age, light hair; of slow speech, and not very
bright. Thos. Walton is about 5 feet 10 inches high, sallow complexion, spare
made; dark eyes and hair, furtive look; is about 40 or 45 years of age. When
last heard from was in the neighborhood of Fort Scott, Kansas. Left Navarro
county when they went there.
