Miss Roger's Music Room

Orginally the marker was located at the home of Laura Rogers where she taught music.
When the condition of the home deteriorated, the marker was moved to the grave site of Laura Rogers
at the Mexia City Cemetery.  Her home was later moved to the Restored Fort Parker and was beautifully restored.
It is now used for lodging for guests at the Fort.
