Looking for information on … Wade N Hammond living with
Carlton C Thrweat in 1880 census in Limestone Co, TX -- Thrweat is a variant of
THWEAT.
We are trying to find the HAMMOND family of our great
grandfather Walter HAMMOND. And, were wondering if he was related to this Wade N
HAMMOND?
We know via old tintypes that our Walter HAMMOND is _not_ the
son of the following HAMMONDS of Limestone Co, TX in the late 1800s …
not
from B F HAMMOND and S E BURNS;
not from William Raiford HAMMOND and
Elizabeth Cathron SPENCER;
not from Benjamin Leroy HAMMOND and Mary Emily
“Molly” TIMMS
(they moved on to Oklahoma, Indian Territory).
So that
only leaves Wade N Hammond or D. P. Hammond and his wife Ann/Anna/A.
Eliza/Elizabeth/E. Spearman as possible HAMMOND families for our Walter HAMMOND
that were in the Limestone Co, TX area in the 1875-1900 time frame (that we know
of).
Our families from Limestone/Robertson Co (Headville) include...
John Quitman HIGHTOWER m. Virgie A. OLDHAM
had my gr grandmother Ada L.
HIGHTOWER
who supposedly m. Walter HAMMOND
and had my grandmother Ruth
Marie HAMMOND
who m. Alonzo Ball CROWLEY, my grandpa.
