60th Anniversary
MOORE
Mr. and Mrs. John S. Moore, of Carthage, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on August 4, 2001. The couple were married on September 7, 1941. They came to Carthage after World War II. John owned West Side Grocery for many years, and along with his partner and friend, the late Rev. H. B. Roquemore, owned Moore/Roquemore Real Estate. She taught in the Carthage ISD. The couple has two daughters: Dr. Don and Jill Burkindine, of Springfield, MO, and Dr. John and Jane Ray, of Lake Jackson. They also have three grandsons, Jake Ray, Pete and Tom Burkindine. A reception will be held at First Baptist Church in Carthage from 2 to 4 pm August 4. Invitations are extended to everyone through the press. The couple requests no gifts. TOLLESON
Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Tolleson, of Carthage will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 23, 2001 with a reception from 2 to 4 pm at Northside Christian Center in Carthage. The couple married August 23, 1941 in Atlanta, TX. Their children are Sandra Loveless, of Tyler, Linda Blair, of Tahlequah, OK, and the late Kristi Tolleson. They have eight grandchildren.
