Central Springs School District # 44 is mentioned in records for a few years only. It was created and classified as an Intermediate School in 1912 by County Board action.
On June 14, 1912, the County Board re-classified the school to a two year high school, 2nd class. It seems strange that Mr. Holmes did not mention this school in his report on all County Schools in 1912.
