CHESSHIRE, FULLER posted by Jenny Fuller Sowder on Sunday, December 21, 1997

John Albert Fuller lived in Red River County, sometimes moving about to Clarksville and Bogata, before moving to the Texas Panhandle, Hemphill Co. He married Agnes Chesshire, father William/mother Elizabeth Chesshire. John and Agnes had 10 children but some were possibly born in Red River County. Agnes had three brothers,Ed, Jim and Homer. Rumor is that Homer and Lorrine lived in Clarksville If anyone should have any information concerning these families, it is very much appreciated. I have very little information, only that Pa Fuller perhaps lived in DeQueen,Ark. and born in Little Rock, Ark.about 1899. Agnes' father was killed, leaving her mother to live with her in Canadian,Texas where she is buried. Hopefully, we can find family members who recall the Parents of John Albert Fuller, Agnes Chesshire Fuller, and William/Elizabeth Chesshire's orgin. They are my ggrandparents, Thanks!

I am looking for any information of Isabella Hopkins. She was married several times. Her last husband was a doctor there in Red River County. She is my great-great-great grandmother. Her daughter Merniva Hanks was my great-great grandmother. I have found information on Isabella "Ibbie" Hopkins in "Prominent Women of Texas" and "In the Bosom of the Comanches." I also have a copy of "The History of Red River Texas" on microfiche, however I have been unable to read it because of the lack of a local microfilm reader and time. I would appreciate any information available or the right direction to head to. Sincerely, Jody Bailey
