Reynolds Murrell Dingler
From the April 14, 2006 issue of the Terrell County News-Leader, page 2:DEL RIO - Funeral services were Wednesday (April 12, 2006) here for Reynolds Murrell Dingler, 88, a 68-year resident of Terrell County who passed away April 8, 2006, at a hospital in Del Rio.
Services were at G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bob Johnson officiating. Burial was at Westlawn Cemetery.
Dingler was born May 30, 1917, in Henderson County. He was a member of the Pumpville Baptist Church. He married Dora Bricker on October 9, 1937, in Sanderson. He was preceded in death by three children.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Martha Sue and Thomas R. Hinds of Crane and Alma and Joe Buchanan of Cabot, Alaska; three sons, Larry Gene and Melinda Dingler of Dryden, William James and Alma Dingler of Morrison, Florida, and Clay Lewis and Maggie Dingler of Del Rio; 17 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mark Simmons, Mike White, Phillip Straub, Alton Everett, Allen Askins and Burt Stidham. Honorary pallbearer was Kelly Goble.
