Francisco Diaz Luevano, Sr
From the January 20, 2006 issue of the Terrell County News-Leader, page 2:Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow, January 21, 2006, at St. James Catholic Church for Francisco Diaz Luevano, Sr., 75, of Sanderson who died Tuesday in Odessa.
Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, January 20, and Rosary will be at 7 p.m. tonight.
Luevano was born in Colorado City, Texas on January 27, 1930. He had lived in Sanderson since 1943 and married Yolanda Luevano in Sanderson on October 15, 1955. He was a crew foreman for Austin Bridge Co.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Susie Luevano, and a brother, Rito Luevano.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Frank Luevano, Jr., and Abel Luevano of Sanderson; two daughters, Esmelda Martinez of Sanderson and Misela Torrez of Odessa; two brothers, Juan Luevano of Del Rio and Alfred Luevano of Los Angeles, California; two sisters, Nena Ortiz of Cleveland, Texas, and Amparo Vasquez of Del Rio; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
