Tolletts Mark Anniversary
from the June 2, 2006 issue of the Terrell County News-Leader, page 9:John and Doris Tollett of Sanderson celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary this week. The couple was married in Sanderson on May 30, 1946.
He was an operating engineer and traveled around the US building highways, bridges, and buildings.
She worked at a newspaper in El Paso and raised two children, Bob and Donna, who, in turn provided a grandchild and two great grandsons.
"They continue to enjoy traveling and are two energetic and fun people who are blessed with the gift of love," said granddaughter Toni Tollett Jarin.
"Congratulations," she said. "I love and respect both of you more than words can describe."
