VINES CEMETERY

It is on property owned by Mr. Quinn, owner of the Quinn Farm (Pilgrims Chicken) on FM 2796. The cemetery is about 3/4 a mile behind his house on the electric company right-of-way. It has a cyclone fence around it and only Ben and Nancy Vines headstones are legible. There are many graves with only sandstone markers. The cemetery is approximately 100 feet square. This is on the old Caddo Trace road that once led to Jefferson,Texas. The road is no longer visible.  Thanks go to Charles F. Burgess for these directions and for the pictures!

These were the only two headstones that were readable in the 1960's.
