GILMER - Graveside services for Hershell W. Weatherby, 77, of Gilmer, will 
be 10 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2007, at Glade Creek Cemetery in Upshur 
County, with Bro. Charles Harrell officiating. Arrangements are by Croley 
Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Weatherby passed away Monday, December 17, 2007, 
in Gilmer.

He was born January 12, 1930, in Upshur County, Texas, to Tullus and Nora 
Todd Weatherby. Mr. Weatherby was a machinist and served in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Weatherby is survived by his wife, Doris Weatherby of Gilmer; sons, 
Donald Weatherby of Hawkins, Gary Weatherby of Big Sandy and David Weatherby 
of Gilmer; daughter, Debbie Scheid of Nevada, Iowa; brother, T.C. Weatherby 
of Gilmer; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2007, at the 
funeral home.
