Where We Are
Brewster County is the "boot heel" on the border of Mexico and contains the Big Bend National Park. It's mostly desert and is sparsely populated. The county seat is Alpine in the northwest corner. Most of the towns are along the Rio Grande or along Highway 90.Our neighbor to the south and the east is Mexico, to the west is Presidio County, in the northwest, we have Jeff Davis and northeast is Pecos. Between Pecos County and Mexico in the east is Terrell County.
