Baber Welding started in 1969, which consisted of one welding truck.  After a short period of time, a backhoe was added, being pulled by the welding truck, which made a one-man operation, with an occasional helper.  The first shop bought was the Densman shop, where A & W Oilfield Supply is now located.  That shop was destroyed by a tornado in 1975.  By this time, business had expanded considerably and in order to have more room, the present location was bought.

     Along with welding, we offer backhoe, ditcher, dozer service as well as pipe line construction and repair.  At the present time we have 27 employees and 5 contract welders.
