ELKINS FAMILY CEMETERY, COLEMAN COUNTY, TEXAS

The Elkins Family Cemetery is located in a pasture on the old Elkins place about 4 miles southwest of Silver Valley, inaccessible to normal traffic.  When we last visited it, there was no fence and several of the stones had been knocked down by cattle.  Dave and Ruth Ann Blake, the present owners plan to restore and fence this burial place.  There could possibly be other unmarked graves.
