HANCOCK CEMETERY, COLEMAN COUNTY, TEXAS

       To reach this small family cemetery, go a bit over three miles north from Santa Anna on FM 1176 and go straight (east) onto a dirt road on the second of two right angle curves.  Go about a mile and this cemetery will be in a field on your left (north).

       The cemetery was located on what was originally the land of B. T. Hancock.

       This cemetery is make up of one large rock enclosure, large enough for five or six adults, and two smaller enclosures, one for an adult and one for a child.  There could possibly be other graves outside these rock walls.
