NATIONS CEMETERY, COLEMAN COUNTY, TEXAS

       The Nations Cemetery is located on what was once land belonging to Andrew Jackson Nations, who came to Coleman County about 1870.  This land was later purchased by W. C. Dibrell and became known as the Echo Ranch.  It is now owned by Buddy Neff.

       This cemetery is unkept and overgrown with evidence of an old fence surrounding the graves at one time.  It is inaccessible to normal traffic.


NATIONS, S. W. (Samuel Wyatt) - died Mar 4, 1879 - "aged 26 yrs, 11 mo, & 23 days" - (son of Andrew Jackson & Elizabeth Jane (Lockridge) Nations) - (stone broken)
