This information is extracted from another source and even when I suspected the names were spelled wrong I left them the way they appeared. Essentially, there are two lists here - Named and Unnamed (at the time of birth) babies. It was normal practice to withhold names in eras when almost 1/3 of all babies died before age 1. For unnamed babies (Infant of), the parent is listed in the third column.

This information is extracted from a birth list created by the State of Texas from birth certificates. There are more instances of babies not being named at the time of birth. They're listed under their fathers' names and (Infant of). There is also sometimes a note under the father's name when he has died (at any time) saying Do not issue. It's nothing sinister, just the normal inefficiencies of the government.
