Born in Marion, Alabama on 27 November 1864, Andrew Jackson Worrell and wife Henrietta Edwards moved to Texas settling first in Fannin County.. In 1906 the couple and their two daughters moved to Jones County, Texas from Honey Grove. His first wife, Henrietta died on 22 December1913. In1920 Andrew remarried another Alabama girl named Elizabeth Tyson. Andrew and Henrietta are both buried in Fairview Cemetery, near Tuxedo in Jones County, Texas. Andrew Worrell died in Stamford, Texas on 9 July 1947. Services were held in the Fairview Baptist Church. Survivors were his wife; one daugher - Mrs. Jackie Reed; two grandsons - Jack Tidwell and E.C. Tidwell; one great-grandson - Derrell Gene Tidwell; three step-daughters. There was a third dughter, Velma, for which no information is available and a fourth daughter died at age one month in Alabama. See Dorman Holub if you have more information.

Seabie Jack [left] and Lallie Cecile [on the right]. Seabie jack Worrell married Albert Napoleon Reed in 1922. There were no children born into this union. The couple divorced in the 1940 and remarried in 1956. Seabie Jack Reed died on 14 December 1989 in Stamford, Texas. I knew Seabie Jack Reed and her husband very well as we attended church together for 17 years. Lallie Cecile Worrell married Elijah Curtis Tidwell in 1920. There were two sons born into this union - Jack Tidwell and Elijah Curtis Tidwell, Jr. One of their sons, Jack Tidwell was Chef of Police in Stamford for many years. As of 2023, both men are deceased.  Lallie Cecil Tidwell died at her home on 17 May 1923 in the Tuxedo community and is buried near her parents. Shewas only 24 years of age at her death. Her husbnad, Elijah Curtis Tidwell was born on 18 September 1897 and died on 22 Janaury 1986 in Haskell, Texas. He was married two more times after the death of his first wife, Lallie Cecile Worrell. One of his daughters from his second marriage was Lucy Louise Tidwell who married Joseph High. Coincidentally, Lucy High and Seabie Reed all attended church together for many years.

Christenig photo of an unknown child with the words 'Lallie, Cecile, Worrell" written on the back. The photo was made in Honey Grove, Texas. It was possibly made priort to 1906, the year the family moved to Jones Coumnty. There is a possiblity that the photo is one of the four daughters.
