Take highway 542 in Oakwood and go south to River Bend Road. Turn left on River Bend Road. Located on Coleman Carter land, 6 miles SE of Oakwood, 2 miles past Glaze Lake.
One large stone located partially covered with dirt, reads as follows:
Erected by his wife To the Memory of [Charles T. Bannerman] Born Leon Co., FL Sept 19, 1830 Died in Leon Co. Tx Feb 6, 1867(Was told that there were more graves that had been bulldozed, possibly graves of slaves.)
