In 1916, there was a house on the
south part of this lot, being called 308 West Pecan Street.
By 1930, the 308 West Pecan Street house had been torn
down and replaced by this house on the north part of the

| "In 1929, J. Tom Padgitt, and
his wife Willie Day, were residing at 111
South Frio Street. He was a
ranchman, with an office in the Coleman
National Bank Building. Also living
at this address was James T. Padgitt, Jr.,
a student." (Coleman
City Directory, 1929 - Hudspeth.) (Note: This
dwelling appears to be the only possible
one that could have the 111 South Frio
address.) |
