Dawson County Cemetery and Lamesa Memorial Cemetery were side by side as separate entities, with Dawson being publicly
owned and Lemesa being privately owned. In 2017 Dawson County Cemetery officially took over and absorbed Lamesa. Today
they are operated as one under the name Dawson and all burial records are house and curated together. |
