2005 Amanda O'Shields was our 2005 recipient. This energetic driven young woman was taught by Mrs. Smith. She is attending Tarleton University, majoring in Mathematics. Amanda persevered her first year with the adjustments of dorm living, college professors and campus life. Her constant enthusiasm and determination is impressive. 2007 Meagan Dunnam, a Coleman High School 2007 graduate, is the recipient of the Julia Smith Memorial Scholarship award. Meagan is the daughter of Cindy Dunnam and the granddaughter of Wes and Ann Adams. Qualification for the recipient is a high school graduate pursuing a degree in teaching or mathematics or science.
