I am lookin for any information on Crawford Franklin GUEST born in RR Cnty in1876 and Elizabeth PHILLIPS GUEST born 1878 and married in RR Cnty in 1895. Moved to Millerton, OK about 1903. She died in 1915 and he died in 1918. Their only living child, my mother, Linnie Bell GUEST age 9 was taken back to Bogata in RR Cnty and raised by James CHESSHIR and Mary Lela PHILLIPS CHESSHIR. James and Lela had three children of their own George, Faye, and ? Faye married a W. H. MONTGOMERY. I would love to hear from anyone who has any information on any of these families. Thanks, Dottie

I am interested in locating descendants of William B. BURNS b. 1851 TX and Mae ANDERSON b. 1858. I've been told some of their children lived in Red River Co. Their children were: Dow, Lillie, Pearl Elizabeth, Charlie b. 1883, Cora, b. 1885, A. Jack b. 1887, Carrie b. 1888, & Henry b. 1889. Henry had a son Delbert BURNS who died in Bogota in January 1977. Can anyone help me with this family.

Looking for any information on T. J. (Tom) and Ada BISSELL FOX. They were married in New Hope, Ark about 1900 then moved to Rosalee, Texas in RR County early 1920s. Lived there for about 10 years. Then moved to San Benito, Texas in 1930s. Had children Elbert, Albert, Cecil, Recil, John Marion, Mary, William, Dora, Toye and Roy. Would like to know more about my grandparents. T. J. also had a brother named George.

My greatgrandfather was Walter Leigh WELCH b. 1856 in Indiana, m. Minnie SANDIDGE in Illinois in 1885?, moved to Texas after her death in 1907, remarried?, lived in Clarksville, RED RIVER COUNTY, Texas and died June 2, 1932. Buried at Harris Chapel, Clarksville. Any help appreciated.

I am searching for the surnames of JOHNSON. The JOHNSON's I am searching for, lived in Red River County around Annona (worked possibly in the mill) Avery and English. My greatgrandfather's name is John Ward JOHNSON (he went by Ward JOHNSON). He married a Mollie BURNS and their children were Ura JOHNSON, Richard JOHNSON and Bertha JOHNSON. What I am trying to find is, who was Ward JOHNSON's parents? He had a brother named Joe JOHNSON, sister named Eff, Sallie and Florence. Ward JOHNSON was born around 1882 or 1883. I'm looking for information about Stella WELCH b. June 1876, d. April 1956. Buried in Harris Chapel Cemetery, Clarksville, Red River County, Texas. She apparantly was married to my Great Grandfather, Walter Leigh WELCH. His first wife died in 1907 so this marriage must have taken place after that. Also listed in cemetery book with them are "Baby" b. 10 June, 1917 and Jewell, b. 1907 d. 1933. Who was she before their marrage? Did they have children together? Any info appreciated.

Please help!! We believe this family lived in the Red River Co area at one time or another. William P PENNINGTON b.?d.? married in 1901 to:Laura Mae STINSON b.03 18 1885 they had: Rosie,Ida,Herbert,George,Roy.Mr. PENNINGTON died before George was born in 1910. Mrs. PENNNGTON being young as the story goes doled out the older children and gave George to the STARKLEYS.Mr. STARKLEY died and she married a MONROE and George never used the PENNINGTON name always the MONROE name.Later George married Wonnia Virginia Cecila WORLDS[WORRELL] belived to be in this area at one time or the other.Could you please help us finish this story.

I,m looking for validation that my g.g.Grandfather Henry D. GLASS Sr. married Mary Ann LYNCH at 2pm on June 23, 1855 by Justice of the Peace David GRAY in Clarksville Tx. I also suspect that his father was John S. GLASS from Virginia. Henry Sr. had eight children the youngest being Henry D. GLASS Jr. born 1859 or 60 died 4-3-1901 this was my grandmothers father. She was 3 or 4 at the time and had very little memory of him. I'm married to Jane HULEN from Clarksville.
